Recreation Programs Offered at A-Mazing Adventures

At A-Mazing Adventures, we have programs and classes available to fit a variety of interests, needs, and skill levels. Our programs cover a range of ages, beginning at walking, moving through all the way to adult programs.

Whether it be our Pre-school Gymnastics Classes that focus on gross motor movement skills for children 3-5 years old, or the Movement Classes that are designed for parent & tot or toddlers and help to develop gross motor and social skills. New this year, we are also offering Specialty Classes which are designed to meet the diverse needs of our participants and athletes, working on specific skill development as well as conditioning and general fitness.

Movement Program (Ages Walking – 3 years)

The Movement Program includes all the parent and tot and toddler programs. This program is designed to develop the child’s gross motor and social skills. Through exploration on a variety structures, children utilize the gross or large muscles of the body like those in the arms, legs and core. Gross motor skills develop over a relatively short period of time and most gross motor skills development occurs during childhood. Through movement programming, your child will develop coordination, balance, flexibility, agility and strength. Your child through this process will also increase self-esteem and self-confidence.

Classes offered in this program: Tiny Tadpoles, Wee Tadpoles, Tumbling Tadpoles, Parent and Tot Movement, Music & Craft and Preschoolers Movement, Music & Craft

Preschool Gymnastics Program (Ages 3-5)

The Preschool Gymnastics program is for children 3-5 years of age and focuses on gross motor skills. Gross motor skills are the abilities required in order to control the large muscles of the body for walking, running, sitting, crawling, and other activities. Gross motor skills develop over a relatively short period of time and most gross motor skills development occurs during childhood. Through gymnastics your child will develop coordination, balance, flexibility, agility and strength. Your child through this process will also increase self-esteem and self-confidence.

Classes offered in this program: Gym Frog 1, Gym Frog 2, Gym Frog 3 -4 and Super Frogs

School Age Gymnastics and Cheer Program (Boys & Girls 6 to 16 years)

The School Age Gymnastics and Cheer Program builds upon the development of gross motor skills as children work on strength, power, flexibility and agility in a fun and encouraging environment. Specific gymnastics and cheer skills are taught through a systems of levels and children move through the levels based on age and skill level. These classes are taught by certified gymnastics and cheer instructors.

Classes offered in this program: Girls Introductory, Girls Intermediate, Girls Advanced, Boys Introductory, Boys Intermediate, Recreational Girls Gym Cat, Recreational Cheer Introductory, Recreational Cheer Intermediate.

Trampoline and Tumbling Program (Boys & Girls 6 to 16 years)

The Trampoline and Tumbling Program teaches the safety and developmental skills on trampoline, tumbling and double mini trampoline from introductory to advanced levels. In a fun and encouraging environment, children gain leg strength, endurance, and good ‘air sense’ (being comfortable being upside down and twisting in the air). These classes are taught by certified and trained trampoline and tumbling coaches.

Classes offered in this program: Trampoline and Tumbling Beginner, Trampoline Intermediate, Teen Trampoline, Trampoline Advanced, Boys Trampoline and Tumbling Beginner.

Specialty Movement Program (6 years to Adult)

Our Speciality Movement Program has been developed to meet the diverse needs of our participants and athletes. These programs are designed to help develop speciality skills and also developed to provide people with opportunities for conditioning and general fitness.
